Rose Sekulovich has over 30 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Rose has held various senior leadership roles in companies such as Arcturus Therapeutics, Halozyme Therapeutics, and Chiron.
At Arcturus Therapeutics, Rose currently serves as the Vice President of Bioanalytical and Translational Biology. Rose previously held the position of Executive Director of Bioanalytical and Translational Biology.
Prior to their time at Arcturus Therapeutics, Rose worked as the Executive Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Halozyme Therapeutics, where they were responsible for the strategic direction and development of clinical pharmacology programs.
Rose also served as the Senior Director of Translational Biology and Clinical Pharmacology at Halozyme Therapeutics, playing a key role in the development and implementation of translational strategies. Additionally, Rose worked at Halozyme Therapeutics as a Senior Director and as a Bioanalytical Consultant.
Before joining Halozyme Therapeutics, Rose established their own consulting firm called Rose E. Sekulovich Consulting. As the Principal, they provided consulting support to biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations in vaccine and therapeutics development, with a focus on CRO selection, technical audits, and bioanalytical support.
Rose has also worked as a Bioanalytical and CMC Consultant at Coherus Biosciences, providing analytical support for biosimilar development, CRO selection, regulatory submissions, and partnering presentations.
Rose held the role of Vice President of Analytical Services at S2 Life Sciences, a global contract research organization (CRO), where they managed analytical and stability services for small molecules, peptides, and protein therapeutics.
Earlier in their career, Rose worked as a CMC Consultant and Director of Analytical Development at Althea Technologies. Rose was responsible for client interactions and technical input for analytical programs.
Rose began their career at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, where they held several roles including Director of Bioanalytical Chemistry, Director of Protein Analytics, and Director of Laboratory Quality Operations.
Prior to Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Rose served as the Director of Assay Development and Quality Control at MediGene, where they built and directed an assay development and QC group.
Rose started their career at Chiron as the Associate Director of Analytical Biology, leading a department focused on the development and validation of immunoassays and bioassays.
Rose Sekulovich began their education at UC San Diego in 1973, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Revelle College in 1978. Their studies at UC San Diego focused on Biology and English/American Literature. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Ph.D. at UC Irvine, specializing in Biology with a focus on Molecular Genetics. Rose entered UC Irvine in 1981 and completed their doctorate in 1988.
