Yunki Im

Yunki Im has had a progressive career in the field of scientific research. Starting in 2016, Yunki worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Rochester Medical Center, focusing on the study of how damaged mitochondria are eliminated through hypoxia-mediated mitophagy receptor FUNDC1 in C. elegans. In 2020, Yunki joined Newormics as a Scientist, where they worked until June 2021. Currently, Yunki is employed as a Scientist at Arcturus Therapeutics, starting in May 2022.

Yunki Im pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from South Korea Careers Jobs from 1999 to 2007. Following that, they furthered their education and obtained a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Hanyang University between 2007 and 2009. Finally, Yunki pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2015.
