Kamal Mistry

Kamal Mistry has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 1997, they worked as the Head of 3D at Images & Sound. From 2001 to 2007, they served as a Technical Director at Pixar Animation Studios. In 2008, they joined Autodesk and held various roles such as Technical Account Manager, Product Manager, and eventually became the Head of Product Management for Media & Entertainment. Kamal then moved to Netflix in 2016, where they worked as a Senior Product Manager until 2018. Kamal subsequently joined Uber as a Senior Manager from 2018 to 2019. In 2018, they also began working at Uber ATG as a Senior Product Manager until 2020. Currently, Kamal is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer at Arcturus (XR Studio), where they lead the company in developing and delivering innovative interactive holographic experiences through the Arcturus HoloSuite platform.

Kamal Mistry completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science at The University of Auckland from 1990 to 1994. In addition, Kamal obtained certifications in AIXR Advisor - Entertainment Tools & Services Group from AIXR - The Academy of International Extended Reality in November 2022 and Autodesk Leadership Program from Autodesk in May 2015. They also have certifications in Preventing Workplace Harassment Training for Managers from Uber and Product Management from Pragmatic Marketing, although the specific month and year of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
