Hari Batnagar

Hari Batnagar is an experienced investor and advisor for startups at Alumni Ventures since May 2025. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Programs at Palo Alto Networks, where significant leadership in cybersecurity projects resulted in securing $125 million in customer investments and closing the largest financial industry deal for the firm. Previously, at American Express, Hari served as Senior Director of Program Management for Global Data Analytics and Public Cloud Programs, overseeing advanced public cloud initiatives. As co-founder and CEO of Sigma Signals, a data science startup, Hari led strategic development and revenue generation, culminating in a private acquisition. With additional experience in program management at Cloud ERP Startup, Oracle, and SAP, Hari's educational background includes an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering & Operations Research from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
