Haneesha Vishwa Sai

Haneesha Vishwa Sai has a diverse work experience spanning across various fields. Haneesha currently holds the position of Research Associate II - Lead Discovery and Optimization at Arcus Biosciences. In this role, they perform routine assays to support chemistry efforts, executes new biochemical and cell-based assays, and ensures timely delivery of high-quality results.

Prior to their current position, Haneesha worked at Wichita State University where they held multiple roles. Haneesha was a Research Assistant in Neurobiology, responsible for conducting research in the field. Haneesha also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they provided direct instruction and teaching in General Biology and Molecular cell biology lab classes. Their duties included lab activities, lecture teaching, grading, and assisting other GTAs when needed.

Haneesha served as a WSU Inspire Ambassador, Student Assistant at the Office of Admissions, and Research Assistant in Biological Sciences at Wichita State University. Haneesha also chaired the Diversity Task Force Committee in the Student Government Association, where they attended meetings and organized committee meetings to discuss issues related to minority and underrepresented groups. Furthermore, they were a Biomedical Scholar at K-INBRE, Biological Sciences Department, focusing on biomedical research and enhancement of chondrogenic differentiation of stem cells.

Early in their career, Haneesha worked as a Student Assistant at the Human Resources Office at Wichita State University, where they gained experience in administrative tasks such as receiving calls, scheduling appointments, and handling confidential documents. Haneesha also interned as an International Senator in the Student Government Association.
