Jeremy Fournier

Jeremy Fournier has a diverse work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry and research. Jeremy is currently working at Arcus Biosciences as the Principal Investigator in Medicinal Chemistry since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Scientist and Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at the same company from 2019 to 2022.

Jeremy's earlier work experience includes being a Research Associate at the University of California, Santa Barbara from 2014 to 2017, where they focused on the synthesis of bioactive natural products and methodology development. Jeremy also worked as a Research Associate at ESPCI in 2014 and as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at ESPCI from 2010 to 2013, where they completed their PhD under the guidance of Pr. Janine Cossy.

As a Master Student at ESPCI in 2010, Jeremy worked on the development of a Palladium catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation of allyl dienols carbonates. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Intern at Sanofi in 2009 and Université Paris-Sud in 2007.

Jeremy Fournier completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from ESPCI Paris - PSL, from 2010 to 2013. Jeremy also obtained a Master's degree in Molecular Chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 2007 to 2008. Jeremy's initial education includes a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie in Chemistry from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), which they acquired from 2005 to 2007.
