Greg Poulos

Greg Poulos is an accomplished atmospheric scientist with extensive experience in the wind energy sector. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Atmospheric Scientist at ArcVera Renewables since March 2017, Greg has previously held significant roles such as Managing Director at V-Bar and Senior Meteorologist at Clipper Windpower. Greg's expertise spans wind resource assessment, mesoscale modeling, and energy production prediction, with a career that includes key positions at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and CoRA/NWRA, where research focused on atmospheric phenomena and advanced observing equipment. With a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and a B.Sc. in Meteorology from Cornell University, Greg has contributed to advancements in atmospheric research and energy strategies for over two decades.
