Julia Joseph has extensive work experience in the legal field, specializing in competition law. Julia began their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Berwin Leighton Paisner in 2007 and worked in that role until 2009. From 2009 to 2018, they worked at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner as a Senior Associate, where they handled EU and UK competition law cases, including international cartel investigations and general competition issues. In 2013, they had a secondment at Thames Water Utilities Limited, advising on competition and regulatory issues. Julia also had a secondment at Tesco PLC in 2014, where they advised on commercial and competition issues. Currently, they hold the position of Group Compliance Director at Ardagh Group.

Julia Joseph attended the University of Oxford from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography. In 2009 to 2010, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law at King's College London. In 2005 to 2006, Julia attended BPP Law School and earned a Legal Practice Course degree in Law. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, they completed their Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School. Julia Joseph completed their secondary education at South Hampstead High School from 1994 to 2001.
