Valentin Smoliy

Valentin Smoliy is a DevOps Engineer at Ardas. Valentin has also worked as an electronic engineer of system management department at JSC "Dniproenergo" Pridneprovs’ka Electic Power Plant and as a systems engineer at DOZ "Energoavtomatika".

Valentin Smoliy has over 17 years of experience in the IT field. Valentin began their career as an electronic engineer of system management department at JSC "Dniproenergo" Pridneprovs’ka Electic Power Plant, where they developed the enterprise's Local Area Network and administered it. Valentin also worked with users to ensure their satisfaction.

In April 2002, Valentin Smoliy took on the role of systems engineer at DOZ "Energoavtomatika". There they developed the enterprise's Local Area Network and organized its connection to the global net Internet via Radio Ethernet. Valentin also oversaw the purchasing of computer techniques and office equipment, and made contracts with suppliers.

In March 2007, Valentin Smoliy joined Ardas, where they now works as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for the development and implementation of Ardas's DevOps strategy. Valentin works closely with developers, ops teams, and customers to ensure that everyone is satisfied with the products and services Ardas delivers.

Valentin Smoliy received their bachelor's degree in Economy of Enterprises from the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (NMetAU). Valentin then went on to receive their master's degree in Electrical Engineer Railway Automatics from Dnipropetrovsk State Technical University of Railway Transport.

Their manager is Alexey Dobrovolsky, Tech Lead. Valentin Smoliy works with Sergey Nikolaenko - DevOps Engineer, Danil Davydov - Frontend Developer, and Anna Orzova - Sr. Frontend Developer.
