Chip Scotton

Chip Scotton has extensive work experience in sales and business development. Chip currently serves as the Area Business Director at Ardelyx, Inc. since December 2022. Before that, they worked at Salix Pharmaceuticals as a Territory Manager from February 2017 to December 2022. Prior to Salix Pharmaceuticals, Chip worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Senior Primary Care Sales Representative from May 2014 to February 2017. Chip also worked at Warner Chilcott as a Pharmaceutical Representative from November 2009 to January 2014. Chip's career began at Procter & Gamble as a Pharmaceutical Sales representative, where they sold multiple products to primary care physicians and specialists from 1997 to 2009. Chip started their professional career as a Territory Manager at Blue Bell Creameries from December 1985 to December 1997.

Chip Scotton attended Blinn College from 1981 to 1983, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies. Following this, from 1983 to 1985, Chip Scotton pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing at Texas A&M University.
