Gregory Leighton has held various roles in different companies throughout their work experience. In their most recent position at Ardelyx, Inc. starting in 2020, they served as the Vice President of Access Strategies and Patient Services. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2020, they worked at Asembia in roles such as Vice President of Clinical Solutions & Patient Access and Senior Director of Clinical Patient Support Operations and Compliance. Gregory'sresponsibilities included managing patient support programs, overseeing operations and compliance, and presenting capabilities to potential partners. Before joining Asembia, Gregory Leighton worked at Walgreens Boots Alliance from 2011 to 2016, where they served as a Clinical Onsite Pharmacy Supervisor, Registered Store Manager, and Supervising Pharmacist. Gregory managed specialty pharmacies, implemented medication therapy management programs, and developed action plans to build community relationships and acquire new patients. Gregory also received advanced training in HIV/AIDS and provided clinical consultations to patients.

Gregory Leighton has a Doctorate of Pharmacy from St. John's University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Medication Therapy Management from the American Pharmacist Association in December 2012 and as an Immunizing Pharmacist from the New York State Board of Pharmacy in August 2011.
