Justin Williams, Pharm.D., BCPS has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical field. Justin most recently worked as a Medical Science Liaison at Ardelyx, Inc. starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they held a similar role at The Medical Affairs Company (TMAC) from March 2022 to November 2022.

Before transitioning to the industry, Justin worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at the Medical University of South Carolina from September 2015 to March 2022. Justin also worked as a Pharmacist at Roper St. Francis from June 2014 to September 2015.

In 2005, they enrolled at West Virginia University, where they pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree, which they successfully completed in 2011.

Williams continued to enhance their expertise in pharmacy by obtaining a teaching certificate from Long Island University in 2012. Additionally, they acquired several certifications to broaden their skill set. In July 2011, they became a registered pharmacist in the state of West Virginia. Following this, in February 2014, they obtained registration as a pharmacist in the state of South Carolina.

In terms of specialized certifications, Williams attained certification as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPT) from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) in January 2012. Justin also obtained their Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certifications in June 2021.

Overall, Williams has a comprehensive educational background, complemented by various certifications, which contribute to their expertise in pharmacy and pharmaceutical education.
