Design Director at Ardius

Jim Lee has a wide range of work experience spanning from 2004 to 2021. From 2004 to 2006, they were the Lead Web Developer at Engine Interactive, and El Presidente at Jamo Studio. During this period, they designed and developed a Flash based fitness tool with a PHP/MySQL backend, localized a 200 plus product website with four different languages for five different regions, and developed a content management system and portfolio-tracking tool for a major televised national financial news program on PBS. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Web Producer at Terex / Genie Industries, where they managed and developed a global product database for a Fortune 500 company with over 30 brands and thousands of products throughout the world, as well as managed and developed five localized European versions of www.terex. From 2008 to 2021, they were the Principal UX Developer and Senior UX Developer at Nintendo, where they were the lead UX resource for various departments within Nintendo to provide world-class usability solutions to internal and external customers. Jim managed the redesign of Club Nintendo with an external agency as the internal UX and technical lead, and launched the redesigned site within a 6-month period, which resulted in doubling overall site traffic. Jim is currently the Design Director at Ardius (acquired by Gusto).

Jim Lee has a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the same institution.
