Kennedy Simmonds Pe

Kennedy Simmonds, PE has extensive experience in the field of drainage engineering. Starting in 2000, Kennedy worked as a Project Engineer at Progressive Development Group, where they were responsible for site and drainage design and permitting of commercial gas stations. This involved tasks such as stormwater treatment design, site grading, and securing permits from various agencies.

In 2005, Kennedy joined Jacobs as a Senior Drainage Engineer, where they served as a Project Manager and Project Task Lead Engineer on transportation, railway, pedestrian, and drainage-related projects in multiple states, including Florida, Texas, and Illinois. Their responsibilities included stormwater management systems design, drainage analysis and hydrology modeling, bridge and culvert hydraulics analysis and design, and environmental permitting.

From 2020 to 2021, Kennedy worked as a Senior Drainage Engineer at Pevida Highway Designers, LLC (PHD), where they continued to contribute their expertise in drainage engineering.

Currently, Kennedy holds the position of Chief Drainage Engineer at Ardurra, a role they started in January 2022.

Kennedy Simmonds, PE completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of South Florida from 1996 to 2000. They obtained their Florida Professional Engineer certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in 2005. Additionally, in 2017, they obtained their Texas Licensed Professional Engineer certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
