Yancy Dennis, PhD

Yancy Dennis, PhD began their career in 1990 as a Senior Consulting Engineer at E.I. DuPont de Nemours. Yancy then moved to Capital One Services in 2000, where they served as the Director of Technology Innovation. In 2005, they joined CareFirst BCBS as the Chief Business Architect and IT Strategy Leader for the Enterprise Architecture. In 2010, they became the Principal at KonceptNexus, and in 2013 they founded and became the Enterprise Business Architecture Director at Enterprise Business Architecture Leaders in Baltimore MD. In 2018, they took on the role of Senior Data Analyst Consultant at Fixt: On-Site, On-Demand Device Solutions, and in 2019 they became the Program Evaluation & Business Analytics Senior Manager and Senior Data Scientist at ARDX. As Senior Data Scientist, they were responsible for leading the development of complete large-scale data analytics and automation processes for qualitative and quantitative analysis, analyzing complex data for policy development, and creating and implementing data models and concepts.

Yancy Dennis, PhD began their educational journey in 1981 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a S.B. in Chemical Engineering. Yancy then continued their studies at the University of Virginia, earning an M.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1987, followed by a PhD in the same field in 1990.
