As Associate UX Director, Brendan is passionate about exploring design processes and understanding the feelings evoked when users interact with a product. In his work, he seeks to apply design techniques and strategies learned from various media, including board games, when thinking through user interactions. Brendan’s key engagements at AREA 17 include Bloomberg, The Public Media Group of Southern California (PMGSC), and Zappos Zen.
Before joining the team, Brendan worked at a startup leading interactive design and Code and Theory as a UX Designer. At Code and Theory, he worked on projects including an OTT app for NBC, an internal ordering tool for Adidas, and websites including Xfinity Mobile, Nuveen, and Invesco QQQ.
When he's not obsessing over his British shorthair kitten, Tangy, Brendan likes to cook, play board games and watch Marvel movies.
