Amber Clauss, MSW, LSW has a diverse work experience in the social work field. Amber started their career as an Intake Specialist at Columbus City Prosecutor Ofc in 2003. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Clinical Therapist at Pomegranate Health Systems of Central Ohio, Inc. Since 2008, Amber has been associated with Area Agency on Aging Region 9, Inc. Amber has served in various roles including Passport Waiver Case Manager, Ohio Home Care Waiver Case Manager/Recovery Manager, Clinical Supervisor Ohio Home Care Waiver, Clinical Supervisor Specialized Recovery Services, and Clinical Manager Managed Care Programs. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Assessment and Managed Care Programs, exercising their expertise in managing assessment and care programs.
Amber Clauss completed a Masters in Social Work and an Associates in Agricultural Business at The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2006. Their field of study was Clinical/Medical Social Work. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Social Worker from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, & Marriage and Family Therapist Board in July 2004.

The Area Agency on Aging Region 9, Inc. first opened its doors in Cambridge in 1975 as a non profit Section 501(c)(3) organization. We are designated by the Ohio Department of Aging as one of America's nearly 700 Area Agencies on Aging. We serve 9 counties in southeastern Ohio that includes; Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum, & Tuscarawas. We equip people, communities & organizations to prepare for & address challenges in aging & those with disabilities & chronic disease(s) with information, assistance & access to services.
