Ave Lausing

Ave Lausing is currently the Implementation Excellence Manager at Area9. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Specialist (e-assessment) at Sihtasutus Innove from March 2017 to August 2019, where they were responsible for developing digital tasks and formative and diagnostic tests for public schools. The most exciting project that they led was the development of digital diagnostic tests for foreign language learning.

Before their work at Sihtasutus Innove, Ave Lausing was a tutor, academic support, literacy support, and substitute teacher at the International School of Estonia from August 2016 to June 2017. While studying for a master's degree in Educational Technology, they were asked to tutor and teach at the International School, which gave their valuable hands-on experience in K-12 teaching and a perspective on applying technological innovation in a school environment.

Ave Lausing has a Master of Science in Educational/Instructional Technology from Tallinn University, a Bachelor of Arts in Language Learning Technology (Estonian and General Linguistics, Romance Linguistics) from the University of Tartu, and various certifications in project management, educational neuroscience, and Area9 U Learning Engineer.
