Matthew Kozey

Matthew Kozey currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Arena Renewables, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew Kozey demonstrated leadership in community-scale markets at Cypress Creek Renewables from April 2020 to June 2023, initially as Senior Director and previously as Director. Matthew Kozey's experience in the energy sector includes various roles at Pepco Holdings from November 2013 to April 2020, culminating in the position of Communications Manager for the Pepco region. Additional experience includes regulatory affairs management and roles at NORC at the University of Chicago, where Matthew Kozey worked as Principal and Senior Research Analyst from January 2010 to October 2013. A background in legislative affairs was gained as a Legal Fellow for the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade in 2009. Matthew Kozey holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
