Joy Porter

Joy Porter is an experienced health and safety professional with a strong background in aquatics management and customer service. Currently serving as Health and Safety Manager at Arena Sports since October 2017, Joy has also held various roles including Customer Service Manager and Aquatics Manager. Previous experience includes the position of Aquatics Director at YMCA of Western Stark County and Aquatics Manager at Clay's Park Resort, where Joy focused on staff recruitment, safety management, and operational planning. Joy's foundation in aquatics began at Meyers Lake YMCA, working as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and further developed at Akron General Health and Wellness Center as a Physical Therapy Aide and Lifeguard. Joy holds a Bachelor of Education in Sports Management from The University of Akron.
