Lonny Beal

Lonny Beal, CSP, is an experienced Safety and Occupational Health Manager at the U.S. Government Publishing Office since March 2014, leading a team in developing and managing various safety programs. Responsibilities include overseeing industrial hygiene, fire protection, emergency preparedness, and accident investigation, alongside developing databases to track government driver's licenses and accident trends. Prior experience includes a 21-year tenure with the United States Air Force, where Lonny Beal held multiple leadership roles including Director of Safety, managing safety programs across 20 locations, and Chief of Aviation Operations Branch, ensuring effective aviation safety and accident investigation protocols. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University.
