Julien Harnal

Julien Harnal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Mountains Sustainable Development Project Manager at Institut de la Montagne. In 2005, they served as the Head of Mission of Mountain Group IUCN/FFCAM at Comité français de l'UICN. In 2006, they founded Vélocité Services and served as the CEO until 2015. Julien then became an Event Coordinator as a Volunteer at Share The Road Cycling Coalition from 2015 to 2018. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as the Country Editor France and French Areas at Bikerepair.com. In 2020, they joined Pricenow as a Market Manager France until 2022. In 2022, they took on the role of Managing Director at THALER France and later became the BU Ski Manager at Arenametrix. Finally, in 2023, they started working as the Business Development France at ListNRide.

Julien Harnal pursued a Bachelor's degree in Planning and sustainable development of mountain areas from the Institut of Alpine Geography, which they completed between 1999 and 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Sustainable Development for Spaces and Societies with strengths constraints from the University of Lausanne - UNIL, which they completed in 2005.
