Emi Hanes

Emi (Emanuela) Hanes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Emi (Emanuela) Hanes is currently the General Manager at Bridgebuilder EOOD. In addition, they have worked as a University Course Lecturer at HSB Hochschule Bremen and as the Senior Vice President in China for The AREOPA Group. Emi has also been a Trainer, Business Coach, and Lecturer at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, and a Business Development and Strategy Development Partner at Zeevan. Emi (Emanuela) Hanes has also served as a Speaker Manager, involved in Strategy Development and Advisory Board at Silkroad 4.0. Emi has experience in marketing as well, having worked as the Interim Head of Marketing at Solrise Finance. Emi (Emanuela) Hanes has also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at Österreichischer Städtebund and as a National Expert at the US Canada Division in the European External Action Service. Earlier in their career, Emi held the position of Officer Integration and Asian Communities at the City of Vienna Municipal Department 17 – Integration and Diversity.

Emi (Emanuela) Hanes has a diverse education history. Emi (Emanuela) Hanes began their educational journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sinology/China Studies at the University of Vienna from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Diploma/Master's degree in Development Politics from 2007 to 2014.

Emi then embarked on a new academic path and attended the Inlingua Language Training College in Augsburg, Germany, where they obtained a State Diploma as a Foreign Language Assistant in 2006-2007. This further enhanced their language skills.

In 2011-2012, Emi engaged in research and language fellowship at Kunming University of Science and Technology, broadening their understanding and expertise in their chosen field.

Emi returned to the University of Vienna yet again, this time from 2017 to 2020, to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) in Language Interpretation and Translation, specializing in English and Chinese. Throughout this program, they acquired advanced linguistic and translation skills.

Moreover, Emi pursued additional diploma courses to complement their academic pursuits. Emi (Emanuela) Hanes obtained a Diploma in Conflict Mediation and Management from Konfliktmediation in 2018-2019, equipping their with conflict resolution skills. In the same year, they also earned a Diploma in Systemic Coaching and NLP from Bildungsforum, further improving their coaching abilities.

In 2020, Emi further enhanced their business management skills by completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz.

Most recently, in 2021-2022, Emi enrolled in EXIN and obtained the EXIN Agile SCRUM Master Certificate, specializing in Project Management. This certification showcased their ability to manage projects using Agile SCRUM methodology.

In addition to their academic achievements, Emi has also acquired several professional certifications. Emi (Emanuela) Hanes obtained the EXIN Agile Scrum Master (ASM) certification from EXIN in August 2022. Furthermore, they became a Certified Mediator from -konfliktmediation- Ausbildungsinstitut für Mediation und Konfliktkompetenz in June 2019. Emi also holds the title of Certified Systemic and NLP Coach, having completed the certification program at Bildungsforum - Institut Dr. Rampitsch Graz in September 2018. Lastly, they obtained an Advanced Administrative Officer Examination certification from the City of Vienna in March 2015, showcasing their administrative expertise.
