Samuele Larzeni

Samuele Larzeni has extensive experience in energy and environmental regulation, currently serving as the Head of the contractual quality and performances of urban waste management services at ARERA since September 2006. Previous roles at ARERA include tariff and quality regulation for waste, electricity, and gas sectors, as well as supporting the Board Member on various regulatory activities and publications. Larzeni's background includes work as a project engineer and manager in the electrical infrastructure sector, and research positions focused on energy economics and high voltage metering systems. Additionally, Larzeni held memberships with the Ordine degli ingegneri della Provincia di Milano, CEI-Comitato Elettrotecnico Italiano, and the Council of European Energy Regulators. Larzeni holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova and additional education from European University Institute and Istituto Superiore "Enrico Fermi."
