Mark A. Vazquez

Mark A. Vazquez has extensive work experience in the field of spacecraft landing and recovery operations and integration engineering. Mark A. has held various roles in different companies, each contributing to their expertise in managing schedules, budgets, and operational requirements for NASA's Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle Program. Mark A. has supported the planning and execution of spacecraft recovery tests, participated in design reviews and technical meetings, and collaborated with multiple engineering disciplines. Additionally, Mark has experience in program integration engineering and technical direction for solid rocket booster operations. Mark A. has also undergone management training and worked as a senior mechanical engineer, liaison engineer, and program assistant in their earlier career.

Mark A. Vazquez has a diverse education background. Mark A. obtained a Certificate in AutoCAD 2011 with AutoCAD 3D from Florida Institute of Technology in 2013. In 1998, they completed a Professional Certificate in Project Management from the same institute. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1988, they pursued an M.B.A. in Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In earlier years, they earned a B.S. in Aircraft Engineering Technology from the same institution between 1978 and 1982, alongside an Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance Technician from 1978 to 1981. Additionally, in 1980, they obtained an FAA License in Airframe & Powerplant. To begin their educational journey, they attended Titusville High School from 1974 to 1978.
