Akshath Malik

Akshath Malik is an incoming analyst at Ares Management Corporation, focusing on direct lending since February 2024. Previously, Malik served as a summer analyst and director of professional development at Zeeba Investment Group, which operates a student-run international long-only equities fund. Malik held the position of junior desk head as a wealth management summer analyst at Prudential plc in Singapore from May to August 2023. Additionally, Malik was the chief academics and operations officer at Advisory Singapore, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth in career and education choices, from July 2020 to March 2023. Malik gained experience in operations management in the Singapore Armed Forces and worked as a project officer with the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth. Malik is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on international economics at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, having previously completed the International Baccalaureate at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent).
