Alex Slepian is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in risk management, governance, and compliance across multiple industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance at Ares Management Corporation since May 2025, Alex previously excelled as Global Cyber Risk Director at Diageo, where responsibilities included developing a global security risk management framework. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Cyber Risk & Analysis at Capital One and Senior Manager of Technology Risk Management at Commonwealth Bank, where strategic guidance on cybersecurity risks and governance practices were key focuses. Alex began a career at KPMG Australia as a Senior Consultant in Technology Risk & Cyber Security after earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
