Hardy Moat

Hardy Moat is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as Vice President of Operations and Treasury Management at Ares Management since December 2001. In this role, Hardy leads all treasury and investment functions, focusing on capital structure planning, financing, liquidity management, and risk management. Prior to this position, Hardy was Vice President of Treasury, overseeing external banking relationships and comprehensive cash management. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP from July 1997 to December 2001, where Hardy was responsible for facilitating risk-based internal audits, preparing engagement work programs, supervising audit staff, and reporting to the Audit Committee. Hardy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
