Michael Weiner

Mr Weiner was promoted to Head of Public Policy & Legislative Affairs in January 2020.

Mr. Weiner has been with Ares since 2006, having served as General Counsel until 2019 and Co-General Counsel over the last year. He will continue as a Partner and member of the Firm’s Management Committee. In his new role as Head of Public Policy & Legislative Affairs, Mr. Weiner continues to focus on various strategic initiatives for Ares and will serve as a key point of contact for various stakeholders, particularly related to matters of public policy and legislative affairs, and be available as a senior adviser across the Firm.
