Chris Brooks

Chris Brooks is an accomplished leader in the energy sector and public service, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of External Relations at Arevia Power since December 2022. Previously, Chris served as a Senator for Nevada's State Senate District 3 from November 2018 to November 2022, after being appointed by the Clark County Commission and subsequently winning a general election. Chris has also held significant roles such as Managing Principal at Brooks Consulting, LLC, and Assemblyman for Nevada's Tenth Assembly District, where landmark legislation on distributed generation and energy storage was passed during the 79th Legislative Session. Prior experience includes executive positions at Valley Electric Association and Bombard Renewable Energy, where Chris oversaw renewable energy projects and legislative affairs. Chris founded Las Vegas Solar Electric and contributed to curriculum development for solar PV training through the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. Chris holds certifications as a Master Electrician and NABCEP Certified PV Installer Emeritus.
