Staffan Thunell

Staffan Thunell has held various roles throughout their career. Staffan is currently a Founding Partner at Arex Advisor, where they provide strategic advice and operational expertise in regulatory affairs and market access for pharmaceutical products. Staffan is also the Chairman of the Board at Neobiomics.

Prior to their current positions, Thunell founded Nevadapharma AB in 2003, where they served as CEO and focused on acquiring mature specialty pharmaceuticals for development and marketing in the Nordic countries and the Baltic states.

In 2002, they co-founded Sofus Regulatory Affairs AB and served as a Founding Partner, Chairman, and CFO. Sofus grew to be a leading medical affairs consultancy in the Nordic area, providing specialized regulatory expertise for successful market access.

Thunell has also worked at Meda Pharma as the VP of Business Development, responsible for product acquisitions and portfolio management, and as the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Earlier in their career, Thunell worked at Novartis as a Key Account Manager, responsible for building relationships with county councils and specialist committees, and as the Head of Logistics.

Staffan'sfirst professional role was at Hamburg Sud, where they served as a Controller for Marketing and Sales, responsible for performance follow-up and budgeting for shipping agents in South America.

Thunell's extensive experience spans different sectors, including pharmaceuticals, logistics, and shipping.

Staffan Thunell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Stockholm University in 1991. Prior to that, they attended Östra Real from 1979 to 1983, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided for that time period.
