Beatriz Franco

Beatriz Franco is an accomplished executive in the food technology and agriculture sectors, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Argentem Creek Partners since May 2025. Previously, Beatriz held the position of Managing Partner at Vita Vera Ventures from January 2023 to January 2024, focusing on investments in early-stage Food Tech innovators. From January 2021 to January 2024, Beatriz was a Partner in the Food & Agtech Fund at Portfolia, concentrating on tech-driven improvements in food production and distribution. Earlier experience includes serving as CEO of Advanced Potash Technologies from January 2017 to January 2020, where Beatriz led the development of sustainable fertilizer technology, and as Director of Investments at Plum Alley Investments for a brief tenure in 2017. Beatriz's educational background includes an Advanced Valuation degree from NYU Stern School of Business and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law.
