Karla Redant has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Karla began their career as a Clinical Research Associate at ClinTrials Research in 1991 and later moved on to become a Project Manager and then a Senior Clinical Project Manager.

In 1995, Karla joined Quintiles, where they served as the Director of Project Management and then as the Director of the Cardiovascular Business Unit. Karla also held the role of Senior Director of Customer Relationship Management, achieving sales targets and building strategic relationships with key accounts.

Karla then transitioned to The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in 2005, where they took on various leadership positions. Karla served as the Director of Global Clinical Research, responsible for resource management and the delivery of clinical trials. Karla later became the Head of Western Europe in Global Clinical Operations, overseeing trial coordination and site management in eight countries. Karla also held the position of Head of Global Trial Coordination, providing strategic and operational leadership to a team of over 700 clinical research professionals.

Most recently, Karla joined argenx in 2023 as the VP and Global Head Trial Operations.

Throughout their career, Karla has demonstrated expertise in trial coordination, operational leadership, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Karla Redant attended KU Leuven from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (R.Ph.). Karla then went on to attend Vlerick Business School from 2003 to 2004, earning a degree in International Middle Management. In 2007 to 2008, Karla enrolled at the University of Cape Town. In 2009, they briefly attended Harvard Business School. Most recently, from 2018 to 2019, Karla participated in the Johnson & Johnson Talent Acceleration Process.
