Maureen Mulwa (ACMA, CGMA) has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Maureen is currently working as the Global R&D FP&A Lead at argenx, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director FP&A (Europe) at argenx from June 2020 to March 2023. Before joining argenx, Maureen worked at Ontex as the FP&A and Revenue Manager for North Europe from January 2019 to June 2019, and as the Divisional FP&A Controller - Growth Markets from November 2017 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Sunbird Group as the Divisional Financial Controller (Sunbird Support & Property Services) and Finance & Business Process Manager from August 2016 to November 2017 and September 2015 to August 2016, respectively. Maureen also worked at Mobile Decisioning Africa Limited as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager from March 2015 to September 2015. Maureen started their career at Black Sun Plc, where they held various positions, including Commercial Performance Analyst from September 2013 to December 2014, Finance Manager from July 2007 to September 2013, and Finance Assistant from July 2005 to October 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Assistant at Berkeley Group Holdings Plc from May 2004 to July 2005.

Maureen Mulwa (ACMA, CGMA) received their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Economics degree from London Metropolitan University in 2002. Maureen later pursued their passion for accounting and finance, completing the Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) program at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2007 to 2010. During the same period, they also obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the Chartered Global Management Accountants program. In 2010, they obtained the Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) certification from CIMA.
