Charlie Gormley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Charlie started their career as a Patrolman at the Police Department City of Englewood in 1978 and later became a Detective First Grade at the City of Englewood Police Department. In this role, they specialized in street crimes, drug arrests, robbery, and organized crime. In 1991, Charlie moved on to work at the Bergen County Prosecutors Office, where they served as a County Detective First Grade, Detective Sergeant, and Detective Lieutenant. Their responsibilities included managing the Investigative Divisions and overseeing budget requests. In 1994, they joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Deputy United States Marshall. Lastly, Charlie worked at Argix Logistics, where they held various positions, including Director of Security, Vice President of Security & Dept. of Transportation Compliance, and Chief Security Officer and Department of Transportation Compliance. In these roles, they focused on loss prevention, fraud deterrence, security coordination, and setting standards.
Charlie Gormley attended Marist College from 1973 to 1977 and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections or Police Science.
