John Wedgwood

John Wedgwood began their work experience in 2012 as a Trainee Solicitor at Pinsent Masons, where they worked until 2014. John then joined DLA Piper as an Associate in Intellectual Property & Technology from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they became a Legal Counsel at Clear Channel International, where they worked until 2019. In 2019, John joined The Premier League as a Commercial Lawyer and later became a Senior Commercial Lawyer. Currently, they serve as the Head of Legal - Commercial & Compliance for The Premier League. John has also briefly worked as a Trainee Solicitor (Secondee) at Manchester United in 2013.

John Wedgwood obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Leeds between 2005 and 2008, with a focus on Law. John then attended BPP Law School in Manchester from 2009 to 2010, where they completed the Legal Practice Course. Most recently, in 2019 and 2020, John pursued a BASL Sports Law Postgraduate Certificate at De Montfort University, specializing in Sports Law & Practice.
