Ian Macartney currently serves as the Head of Innovation and Digital at Argo Group, a position held since April 2019. Prior to this role, Ian was the CEO of Torrent Technologies from November 2014 to November 2018 and held the title of COO for US placement at Marsh from January 2006 to October 2014. Ian also served as the COO of the global Marine business at AIG between May 2004 and December 2005. Earlier in Ian's career, from April 2002 to May 2004, the role of Head of Global Life Operations and Training was undertaken at AIG Life (ALICO).
