Jason Williams

Jason Williams has extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting roles within the insurance industry. Jason began their career as an Insurance Compliance Accountant at Allianz Global Assistance and later became the Manager of Financial Reporting. In this role, they consulted on and audited the design of revenue processing systems and developed reporting packages. Williams then moved on to Markel Corporation, where they served as the Statutory Reporting Supervisor. Here, they coordinated reporting calendars, assisted in system restructuring, and improved communication flows. Jason'smost recent position was at Argo Group International Holdings as the Director of Financial Reporting. In this role, they were responsible for driving the GAAP and Statutory reporting process, providing analysis to management, and coordinating audits.

Jason Williams obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University from 1989 to 1993. Jason also holds additional certifications, including a Certified Public Accountant designation from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in 1995, an Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance from the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society in 2001, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2011.
