Laura Horton

Laura Horton has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries.

Laura currently serves as the General Manager at Argo Visa.

Prior to this, Laura worked at Shopify as the Senior Business Development Partnerships Lead for the US West region. In this role, they developed regional partnership strategies, led innovative deals, and built a high-performing team.

Laura also worked at Intel Corporation, where they held the position of Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development. Laura oversaw the development and execution of cross-business-unit strategies, led a team in building go-to-market and scale engine, and managed a portfolio of strategic partnerships.

Before their time at Intel, Laura served as the Chief of Staff and Communications Manager, leading enterprise IT and cloud business transformation strategies at the company.

Earlier in their career, Laura worked at Georgetown University as the Strategic Communications Manager, where they led the university's technology modernization plan and developed executive communications.

Laura also had experience at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation as an Interim Program Manager, responsible for managing partnerships with Fortune 500 companies focused on international development.

Laura started their career as a Consultant at Touchstone Consulting Group, where they built relationships with state and local emergency management personnel and co-led strategy workshops for emergency responders.

Additionally, Laura has worked as a Staff Assistant at The White House Medical Unit.
