Anil Thakkar

Anil Thakkar is an experienced radiochemist currently serving as a Group Leader in Radiochemistry at Argonne National Laboratory since February 2007, where responsibilities include managing a radiochemistry lab focused on monitoring radiation occupational exposure levels. Prior to this role, Anil worked at Eichrom Technologies LLC from September 1993 to February 2007 as the Manager of Technical Support in Radiochemistry, providing expertise in radiochemical separations. Anil's career in radiochemistry began at GEL Laboratories, LLC from March 1989 to September 1993 as a radiochemist and chemist. Anil holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston, obtained from 1985 to 1989, and a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology from the University of Mumbai, completed from 1982 to 1984.
