Kevin J. Rader

Kevin J. Rader is an experienced professional in safety management and nuclear technologies, currently serving as the Directorate Safety Manager at Argonne National Laboratory since November 2019. Previous roles at Argonne include Manager of the Occupational Safety Group and Interim Manager of Radiological Operations. Prior to his tenure at Argonne, Kevin J. Rader spent over eight years in the US Navy, where responsibilities included managing the Nuclear Engineering Training Program and leading a team of instructors at the Pacific Submarine Training Center. Kevin J. Rader has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed advanced nuclear power training at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
