Michael Papka

Michael Papka is an accomplished researcher and leader in high-performance computing, data analytics, and visualization, currently serving as an Argonne Distinguished Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory since January 1992. Alongside this role, Michael holds the position of Warren S. McCulloch Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago, overseeing an interdisciplinary Electronic Visualization Laboratory and teaching within the Honors College. Michael's extensive career includes positions such as Deputy Associate Laboratory Director and Division Director at Argonne, alongside roles at the University of Illinois Chicago and Northern Illinois University.
