Qian Liu

Qian Liu is an experienced chemist with a strong academic and professional background. Currently serving as an Assistant Chemist and formerly a Postdoctoral Appointee at Argonne National Laboratory since November 2017, Qian Liu has expertise in the design and synthesis of advanced chemical compounds and catalysts. Previous roles include Scientist at Verseon and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Chicago, where Qian Liu focused on functionalized borophosphonate compounds, catalytic behaviors, and polymerization processes. Teaching experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant for Inorganic and Honors Organic Chemistry courses at The University of Chicago. Qian Liu earned a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Chicago and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Chemistry from Peking University.
