Susan Coghlan currently serves as the LCF Deputy Division Director at Argonne National Laboratory, a position held since October 2002. In this role, Susan oversees the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility and its division. Prior to this, Susan managed the Mathematics and Computer Science high performance computing systems team, where the IBM Blue Gene system was a focal point. Susan's extensive experience includes positions as a Senior System Administrator at both Argonne National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory, as well as a Senior Developer at Turbolinux, specializing in cluster management software. Susan began a career in technology as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Nonlinear Studies, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Sam Houston State University.
