Attila Kovács

Attila Kovács has a diverse work experience in the field of cardiology and medicine. Attila began their career as a Research Fellow at the University of Padova Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Sciences in 2012. Attila then joined Semmelweis University in 2012, where they held various roles including Resident Doctor, PhD Fellow, Consultant Cardiologist, Medical Director of Echocardiography Laboratory, Managing Director of Echocardiography Core Laboratory, and Assistant Professor of Medicine. In 2019, they became a Young Ambassador for the European Association of Preventive Cardiology under the European Society of Cardiology. From 2013 to 2017, they also served as a Young Ambassador for the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging. In 2017, they transitioned to Argus Cognitive, where they became the Director of Cardiology Programs until 2022. In 2023, Attila Kovács became the Chief Medical Officer at Argus Cognitive and subsequently took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at CardioSight. Overall, Attila Kovács has a strong background in cardiology research, clinical practice, and leadership roles in the healthcare industry.

Attila Kovács has a comprehensive education history. Attila obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Semmelweis University's Faculty of Medicine, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Semmelweis University's Doctoral School of Basic Medical Sciences, specializing in echocardiography. Attila successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from this institution in 2015.

Moreover, Attila Kovács has acquired additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Additionally, they hold certifications in Clinical investigation of medical devices for human subjects (ISO 14155:2011) from the ISO - International Organization for Standardization, EACVI Adult Transoesophageal Echocardiography from the European Society of Cardiology, and EACVI Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography from the same institution. Attila has also completed training in Good Clinical Practice from Argint International.
