Hasan Jafri

Dr. Hasan Jafri is the current Chief Medical Officer at Aridis Pharmaceutical. Hasan has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on infectious disease and vaccines. Hasan previously served as the Product Development Team Lead for the Serious Bacterial Infections Franchise at AstraZeneca and as Senior Director of Clinical Research and Development for Infectious Disease & Vaccines at MedImmune. Hasan has also held positions as Director of the Pediatric Pharmacology Research Unit and Pediatric Clinical Trial Center at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and Division Chief of Clinical Pharmacology in the Department of Clinical Sciences at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Jafri began their career as a Guest Researcher in the Parasitic Disease Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Hasan is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and has a PhD in Pharmacology from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Hasan Jafri did their fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from UT Southwestern Medical Center. Prior to that, they completed their residency in Pediatrics from The University of Texas Medical Branch and an internship in Pediatrics from The University of Texas Medical Branch. Hasan has an MD degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, University of The Punjab.
