Kristin Tavas has extensive work experience in marketing. Kristin currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing at Tranquility Beach Anguilla, starting in January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Aries Capital, LLC as Senior Vice President of Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for the firm's national marketing strategy, marketing tools/infrastructure, and execution across all asset classes, customer segments, and channels. Kristin also managed marketing for Aries Capital leadership's affiliated resort and vacation rental properties in Anguilla. During this transition, Tavas worked to help establish the new brand before returning to primarily focus on Aries Capital, LLC. Kristin stayed with Aries Conlon Capital from December 2016 to September 2018.
Earlier in their career, Tavas worked at LaSalle Bank (ABN AMRO NA, Now Bank of America) as Vice President of Marketing Intelligence. In this role, they founded and managed a new internal client services group, providing strategic recommendations and actionable management reporting to bridge the gap between the database marketing department's technical and statistical teams and its internal clients. Their tenure at LaSalle Bank lasted from January 2001 to March 2008.
Before that, Tavas was a Senior Product Manager at DigitalWork, a start-up company that offered cloud-based online marketing services. Kristin successfully managed the company's most profitable suite of services, which generated 76% of the company's total ecommerce revenue. Kristin worked at DigitalWork from December 1999 to December 2000.
Tavas also held positions at Classified Ventures as Program Manager for Cars.com and Product Manager for Real Estate. As the Program Manager for Cars.com, they developed sponsorship and advertising packages for resale by the national sales team and affiliated media companies. Kristin worked at Classified Ventures from November 1998 to December 1999.
Earlier in their career, Tavas worked at Bank One (previously First Chicago/NBD Bank, now JP Morgan Chase) in various roles. Kristin served as Vice President of Online Services, Officer of Consumer Lending, and Marketing Coordinator for Mortgage Services. In their role as Vice President of Online Services, they managed a multi-million dollar marketing and communications budget to launch and support new Internet and existing software online banking and bill payment in multiple states. Kristin also co-developed and delivered a multi-state train-the-trainer program that was adopted as a bank best practice. Their tenure at Bank One lasted from August 1991 to November 1998.
Kristin Tavas completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, specializing in Advertising, Public Relations, and Journalism, at Drake University from 1987 to 1991.
