Neil Freeman has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Neil started their career in 1987 as the President of Freeman Realty Advisors, Inc. In 1991, they founded Aries Capital LLC and served as the Chairman & CEO, where they pioneered commercial mortgage servicing and led the company into CMBS non-recourse lending. In 1995, they joined DePaul University as an Adjunct Professor. Since 2002, Neil has been the President of Urban Development Fund, LLC, where they have been instrumental in providing New Market Tax Credit and Historic Tax Credit investments and consulting, funding over $1 billion.
Neil Freeman has an educational background in business and finance. In 1973, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1976, they furthered their education at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. From 1978 to 1980, Neil Freeman obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Real Estate.
