Ken Horne

Kenneth Horne is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sustainable infrastructure, energy management, and business transformation. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Aries Clean Technologies since September 2022, Kenneth provides strategic leadership to a waste-to-value start-up. As the Director of Portfolio Operations at Spring Lane Capital since June 2021, Kenneth leads technical diligence and value creation across portfolio assets. Previously, from October 2013 to May 2021, Kenneth held several director positions at Guidehouse, focusing on sustainable energy investments and microgrid advisory practices. Earlier roles include Smart Grid Program Director at Connecticut Municipal Electric Energy Cooperative and Co-Founder and COO/CFO at AlchemyI, Inc. Kenneth holds an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Philosophy from Iowa State University.
