Allyson Whittaker

Allyson Whittaker has a diverse work experience spanning several scientific and research-focused roles. Allyson currently works at Arima Genomics as the Technical Applications Support Manager, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Allyson worked at Arima Genomics as a Technical Applications Scientist from August 2020 to April 2022.

Allyson's earliest research experience was at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, where they worked as a Graduate Student from 1993 to 2000. Allyson'sresearch during this time centered around cell cycle regulation during development and its implications in cancer. Allyson developed a phenotypic in situ hybridization screen and secondary assays to study S phase marker genes in Drosophila embryos.
